Strategic Communication Major | Pre-Law | Athlete | Advocate

As a graduating senior at Hampton University, I am a dedicated student-athlete with a passion for both strategic communication and law. Majoring in Strategic Communication with a minor in Psychology on the Pre-Law Track, I balance academic excellence with the discipline required as a Division 1 cross country and track athlete. Beyond my academic and athletic pursuits, I have demonstrated leadership through key roles in several campus organizations, including serving as an Associate Editor for HerCampus, contributing to Campus Curlz to promote community service, and engaging with the Student Recruitment Team to welcome prospective students to our university.
This summer, I had the opportunity to work closely with Honorable Judge Kalimah Ahmad, where I observed court proceedings and gained insights into various legal career paths. This experience deepened my interest in entertainment law, seamlessly blending my background in communication and media with my legal aspirations. I am also passionate about advocating for mental health awareness among student athletes. I founded the instagram platform "Athletes Live Forever" to rovide resources, create a supportiive community, and address the unique mental health challenges faced by athletes.
